Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Children up to age 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients’ ability to pay. It’s how Shriners Hospitals for Children® has been bringing Love to the rescue since 1922.

Located in the heart of Galveston, Shriners Childrens – Texas provides acute, reconstructive and rehabilitative care for children with burns and other skin conditions and orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal disorders and diseases, as well as cleft lip and palate. . Our inpatient and outpatient units are designed to allow children to recover in a safe, fun and friendly environment where family comes first. Our world-class physicians and researchers are committed to continuously advanced burn care and treatment to children from all over the world.
